It looks like Dr. Megan Hunt’s personal life suddenly has a pulse.

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Battlestar Galactica vet Jamie Bamber is joining the cast of ABC’s Body of Proof as a love interest for Dana Delany’s medical examiner.

His character, Scott Decker, is described as a blue collar and (duh) sexy. I’m told Bamber is on board for at least three episodes, the first of which is slated to air in late November.

As TVLine just reported, Bamber is also set to guest star as a patient with a big secret in the Nov. 7 episode of House.

Buried within Fox’s just-released November sweeps release was a rather fraktacular casting nugget: Battlestar Galactica‘s Jamie Bamber is headed to House!

The actor is set to guest star in the Nov. 7 episode as a man who “suddenly collapses, and in the process of diagnosing his symptoms, the team discovers that he has been hiding dark secrets and lying about his personal and professional life… But when he openly confesses his wrongdoings to his family and community, he compromises his chances of receiving the proper medical treatment that could save his life.”

The episode also marks Chase and Taub’s official return to House’s team.

Battlestar Galactica veteran Jamie Bamber is set to guest star at least twice on TNT’s upcoming new series Perception. The drama stars Eric McCormack as an eccentric neuroscientist and university professor who helps the FBI solve complex crimes. Bamber will guest-star as Michael Hathaway, a professor who entices Rachael Leigh Cook’s character (the professor’s FBI handler). Bamber, by the way, also has a previously announced role coming up on CSI: Miami.

Perception premieres next summer.

Battlestar Galactica‘s Apollo is trading in his flight jacket for rainy days.

Jamie Bamber has signed to guest-star on CSI: Miami, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

He’ll play Robbie, one half of a freelance storm-chasing duo who is questioned by Sgt. Tripp (Rex Linn) when a piece of his equipment is linked to a murder.

Bamber most recently appeared in the pilot for 17th Precinct, from Galactica creator Ronald D. Moore. He also stars in Law & Order: UK.

CSI: Miami returns Sunday, Sept. 25 at 10/9c on CBS.

“BSG”‘s Jamie Bamber will guest star in the season premiere of “Dollhouse” and his character will not only share scenes with Eliza Dushku‘s Echo, but with fellow “BSG” alum Tahmoh Penikett (Paul Ballard) as well.

Per FOX, Bamber’s role has him heavily involved in an engagement that Echo and Ballard are assigned to.

Heavily involved, hmm?

Will he be an ally or foe?

Whatever the case, Apollo and Helo sharing the small screen once again? We’re good with that.
